i got masseter botox for my tmjd about 3 weeks ago and i’ve noticed i can’t really smile anymore - if anyone has experienced similar pls lmk what happened 🥲 for ref i have hEDS and got 50 units each side
on top is a picture of estelle smiling but their smile isn’t wide so it looks a lot like a grimace. underneath is it a picture of estelle pre botox where we see their smile is much wide and the corners of her mouth actually lift up. in the top pic her top lip is also much less visible. there’s text saying “yeah so um the tmj botox ruined my smile yay” in between the pics the top picture is of estelle’s mouth when she’s laughing but it’s not very wide and a bit crocked. again, it looks more like a grimace than a smile. on the bottom is a picture of estelle smiling wide pre botox. on the top picture you can see a lot more of estelle’s gums than on the bottom one and their top lip is much thinner as well.
