Yikes.
Just a touch of self harm from a large slice of the British public. Yikes.

Brexit just sucked.
Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

The UK government back chatting the Scottish government about anything Covid related is rich.

Sturgeon informed the country while Boris had parties. Give me peace.
Nicola Sturgeon was a “serious and diligent leader” during the pandemic but the Scottish Government’s response was “inadequate”, the UK Covid Inquiry has said

Amen
Tonight we have the chance to qualify for our first World Cup since 1998. It could be spectacular.

And every single group game has been shown live on free-to-view TV.

Our national team is for all of us. It should never return to being hidden behind a paywall.

Serious question, why doesn’t England have a Parliament?
Westminster has passed Acts of Parliament specifically to define the powers of:

✔️ The Scotland Act
✔️ The Wales Act
✔️ The N Ireland Act

So for comparison…

Can anyone point me to the Westminster Act that sets out the powers of:

❌ The England Act

(Exactly - it doesn’t exist.)

Show of hands please.

How many women could lay their hands on £900,000 cash to buy their fella a house in his constituency ?

Asking for a country still wanting an answer.

Alice Thomson is patronising us all with her second word.

This is more elitist behaviour trying to drive the narrative that we shouldn’t be silly dabbling with environmentally friendly politics and should stick to Labour and the Tories.

So condescending.
And today it's the turn of The Times to try and patronise us all.

Every single day the right wing establishment tries to close ranks.

And every day we are growing.

Wes Streeting is not plotting to oust Keir Starmer as Prime Minister.

That’s simply nonsense.

He’s simply scheming to oust Keir Starmer as PM, while his supporters, they….they are plotting to oust Keir Starmer as PM.

….. the BBC belongs to everyone?

The News service is pro Farage.
Was pro Tory.
Has always been anti-SNP.
Gives Laura Kuenssberg a salary after years of her being Boris Johnson’s strongest ally.

BBC News belongs to the London elite and serves them over the 60 million.
LibDem leader Ed Davey has chipped into the debate around the resignation of BBC director-general Tim Davie by claiming in a Guardian column that the organisation 'belongs to all of us' but is that the case?

Using Ai to create reports is one thing, but the government are still not actually addressing the reasons behind falling attendance levels.

Simply pointing at the figures and giving over burdened schools more to do is just making it worse.

More funding to schools might help more.

UK politics is clearly broken when charities have to do the job of the UK Gov.

If MPs get expenses and luxury housing it should only be allowed when disasters like this aren’t happening.

Threaten to cut the money from the top and I guarantee problems like this won’t happen.
