Removing asylum support. Seizing belongings. Deporting entire families, including children.

Labour are not just paving the path to a Reform government. Reform may as well already be in power.

This government has no moral compass — and it should be ashamed of its inhumanity.

Cruel. Callous. Cowardly.

The public are seeing this Labour government for exactly who they are.

We all have a responsibility to make them pay at the ballot box.

Reject the hate. Reject them.

This is not who we are. Let's make hope normal again.

Kafkaesk: Calling The clinic to arrange a blood test. Am diverted to a hub. The hub' phone system tells me to call 119 if I want a covid vaccine or my GP if I want a flu jab. If not they will divert me back to the clinic. The clinic's phone system diverts me to the hub! NHS at its brightest!

There is a Norwegian proverb: "Boasting stinks, but it comes from the heart". TACO has really taken this to a new level, he stinks like pure sewage!

1/3 Why is Labour polling/doing so badly? There are many reasons, of course. Bad policies and sleaze (freebees, tax dodging and being in bed with lobbyists and companies advocating privatisation of NHS) are some examples. I think it is a more fundamental problem.

Garage owner: Sorry, hope you don't mind waiting...
Me: Of course I am, I'm a busy retiree, I mean I'm time poor
Other customer: Being a retiree is damed hard - you never have a day off!
Me thinking: Is this an abuse of my human rights, never ever having a break/holiday?

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

We live in a world that can feed everyone, but people starve. We live in a world where we can prevent people dying of preventable illnesses, but we don't. How on earth can we justify giving someone $1T? Why do we not revolt? Inequality is getting to levels that are unbearable and will lead to riots

Under the program, families, regardless of income, can receive state vouchers to cover public and private child care fees.
