I love my job but I feel on edge whenever we have a trans patient and I cannot keep existing like that.

I’m currently fighting the urge to send her an email that says, basically, “don’t ever call me a woman again. I know you’re a transphobic fuck but I’m not going to let you get away with it”

At the same time, nothing she ever does is overt enough or concrete enough to complain about. It’s microaggressions and bad vibes. How the fuck do I deal with that??

This is not the first time she has misgendered me but the first time it’s been so blatant. She is known for having very strong (read:transphobic) views on gender affirming care for minors, and she treats the trans patients terrible.
