Creative, queer, & chronically ill. I talk about books a lot, brain all turned and stuff. Writer of romance, SFF, & opinions. Disabled gamer & fangirl. I contain multitudes. She/her.
There was some commentary going around that the Endless were cribbed from Tanith Lee's Lords of Darkness in the Tales from the Flat Earth series, but I would leave you to draw your own conclusions there.

If you're a fan of dark fantasy, absolutely. If you're a fan of lyrical writing, doubly so.

Have you read any of Tanith Lee's work?

This height to body mass ratio most fits how I've been imagining Filak in past books!

I'm sorry to hear it! I lost track and didn't end up getting back to you with any other discussion questions, but I guess it was moot.

Did y'all have your book club meeting last month?

(Obviously, this is not the most important thing going on right now with regards to... everything.)

1-3 books is the sweet spot.

Dare I ask what the special interest is?

YES. This was such a fantastic follow-up to the first one!!

Good choice!

I just finished Unexpected Delivery, which is a sidestep from the main series, but it was fun to see East, Briar, Calder, and Keir again! I'm excited for No Escape in July so we can finally see what a rabid alpha looks like.

Devyn Sinclair is great as well - I'd start with Knot Your Damn Omega. Her books are also on KU. Try Jillian West as well.

There's just something about you writing a book on the loneliness epidemic while alone simulating the sound of a coffee shop so you don't feel alone.

Amal El-Mohtar mentioned at one of her recent events for The River Has Roots that TIHYLTTW had been optioned for a miniseries, but it was scrapped and now it might be a movie. She & Gladstone are working on writing the feature.

Possible question for the club: how could the book work as a film?
