Five Years ago today, the then-EPRDF executive committee approved the merger of the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front. Five EC members voted against it but could not stop the demise of the front. It was one of the consequential decisions as Ethiopia descended into a bloody civil war.

It is a heartbreaking day for Ethiopia Insider. I don't know how EI will recover from this. I know how difficult it was to raise the resources to purchase these office pieces of equipment.
