Yes. This goes straight to the core of the problem with the worldview of most Democrats. They act as if the US was the idealized country they have on their minds, and not the one that exists in reality.

As a Venezuelan, I can say this is the sentiment of the majority of the Venezuelan population. It may be a devil’s bargain but the people are destitute and desperate. There is no future under Maduro but pain and hunger. Most people see a foreign military intervention as the only way out.
