I was already super deep in my feelings tonight and probably shouldn't have been cruising around youtube because it once again threw me the excellent Love Between Fairy and Devil Running Up That Hill vid and now I'm reliving every single feeling from that show again. #cdrama

Every reveal int hat show was so excellent as it unfolded! And the romance felt like two people who genuinely liked each other for very specific reasons and not just two people we're told are in a relationship, you know?

I think often how MXTX was just posting Mo Dao Zu Shi for free online for fun but then -> huge phenom -> one of the most successful TV dramas in recent cultural memory -> launched the careers of the two biggest stars in China -> spawned an entire new publishing sub-industry in the US, the RIPPLES.
This is so, so good and captures the extreme intense reaction that EVERYONE has to this show, including me, as is on record on vox dot com. The declaration that The Untamed is one of the greatest love stories of all time certainly rings true -- we included it in our new queer canon for a reason.

Usually side characters do not leave any impression on me but his acting was so good..idk his end game but him trying to save his best friend while working behind his best friend..the fine line between regret and obsession was so well acted and well portrayed..

The body swap segments in lbfad are probably the funniest segments Ive seen in any cdrama..esp xlh throwing sass using dfqc's body and dfqc trying to be intimidating using xlh's cute face 😅😅
