I didn’t process the dough as long as what was recommended but this was my first go so I wanted to get a feel for how quick it can be done.

The preciseness of baking made me realize how easy making pizza from scratch is. I’ve made dough for different things in the past and it’s pretty much the same every time.

So crazy I remember these!
Touch-sensitive #Goosebumps shirts were advertised on Scholastic's official site in 1997. By some miracle, all the sound effects were saved by @archive.org.

Lily Rose Depp’s body acting was phenomenal, the camera work around her possession scenes were gorgeous.

I really enjoyed Nosferatu. While watching I thought about how much I enjoyed Dracula Dead and Loving it as a kid.

This is where I’m with it as well.
I will not be letting this administration stress me out. Will simply just do the work I need to do and help those that I can.

One of my favorite things to do with my students was watch them create.

I keep all of my nephews painting in a folder because I want to keep track of his progress and interests. I hope to have a real studio one day where he can just come in, grab what needs and create.

Nephew asked if he can finger paint. Le sigh. Now, I need to figure out how to set this up….

Which reminds me of The Babadook. I think I’m an advocate for befriending (mythical) monsters. Or at the very least, exploring that theme in an artistic medium.

guillermo del toro is another filmmaker who I absolutely adore. I’ll never forget the first time I watched The Devil’s Backbone. It was one of the rarer instances of ghost depictions that resonated with how I’ve seen/felt them most times.

He had a great intimacy with the unknown, revered it even. And I always can tell when a filmmaker specifically has a deep appreciation for otherworldly ideas.

I wasn’t familiar with David Lynch until I went to film school and then I sort of kept up with him and I think there’s something to be said about artist who don’t mock esoteric knowledge.

Correct. This is why i tell people to avoid AI as well. It adds to the destruction.
I would love to see more talk about how this is also our fault lol. And we have some level of choice. We often choose convenience and if it’s not impacting us directly who gives af, no? like can we be honest for two seconds 😭

I agree AND we are also complicit *see fast fashion. We aren’t talking about just straws everyday people are also complicit. Is that systemically intentional yes and does that change the truth no 🤍
idk who needs to hear this but climate change isn’t *your* fault. the earth has enough to provide for all of us regular people. should we always be mindful of our consumption? of course. but it’s literally just a handful of rich greedy fucks that are exploiting the earth to death.
Climate change is a huge problem and everyone should do what they can but I strongly believe blaming individuals instead of corporations is a corporate tactic to obscure the key causes, create personal guilt, and discourage people from organizing for real progress.
