It’s wild watching every advanced agency developed during my lifetime be destroyed on purpose, by people who want to profit from it and cheered on by those who will be hurt the most because they don't understand how things work.
The U.S. Treasury is getting ratioed on an apparent self-own. Higher yields raise U.S. borrowing costs and often reflect market anxiety rather than strength. Investors demand higher yields when they see greater risk in holding government debt. This is not a good sign.

I’ve now had multiple sources tell me the UK NHS is removing the CDC from its list of reliable sources.

Welcome to irrelevance.

Imagine, if you will, that NASA updated its website to suggest gravity might not exist, prompting CalTech and CERN to release statements saying, "With great sadness, we can no longer recommend listening to NASA."

This is what's happening in epidemiology.

The ACIP decision to discontinue the recommendation for a universal hepatitis B birth dose vaccine will cause harm.

As the federal government continues to fail children's health, families can rely on our nation's physicians to continue to put children's health first.

Former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández, was sentenced to 45 years in prison after being convicted in a U.S. court of running a “narco-state” that helped send South American cocaine to the United States.

He is now free thanks to a pardon. Cocaine deaths have risen significantly.

If RFK Jr. ever told you he bought you something that was gold, you might want to throw it out. Turns out gold in RFK Jr. speak is dog poop in normal people talk.

So, the FDA claims came from VAERS. Now that we know the FDA is being willfully illiterate, disregard.

"I'm shocked." -- no one ever

CHD is basically a website dedicated to misinterpreting data in a way that horrifies parents. This gold standard science is turning out to be dog poop science.

Each year in the United States, roughly 2,500–2,600 children and teenagers under 18 are killed by firearms, and more than 11,000 are treated in emergency departments for nonfatal gun-related injuries.

This averages to about 35 children and teens shot every day, including those killed and wounded.

The FDA has provided no evidence of this. Something of this gravity would ordinarily be published in a journal reviewed by others. That’s the mostly likely reason they didn’t. It wouldn’t withstand scrutiny.

RFK Jr. says there’s not enough evidence to prove vaccines don’t cause autism.

There’s also not enough evidence to prove RFK Jr. doesn’t have a fetish for watching people die of infectious diseases.

And there never will be because you can’t prove a negative. See how that works?

Turns out it’s less a war on drugs and more of a Wrestlemania on drugs.

No one is actually fighting drug trafficking.

Given that the US is wrong 1/4 of the time in IDing drug boats, this sounds like a criminal offense.

I sure as heck am not paying taxes to kill civilians who pose no imminent threat to the US. I’m not a tankie. I do take international law seriously.

4/ China and the EU are investing heavily in climate-risk analytics because they understand food system resilience as a national-power issue.

You know who isn't replacing their best scientists with quacks? China. Why? They don't want to FAFO when it comes to food supply and national security.

2/ Agriculture depends on predictive models. Cancelling "climate-friendly" farming might sound like nothing. That's a branding problem because what it's canceling is farming resistant to weather changes that cause famine. It's cancelling prevention of regional instability.

If one of the Muslim countries that have a travel-based economy bans an extremist or terrorist group, we need to be looking at that seriously.

It’s not because they’re Islamophobic; we have to be able to talk about this stuff.
