...because being in KL, it's hard to hit 10k outside of a sports environment as everywhere is hot and humid and town councils cutting down more trees that provides natural shades while refusing to build sheltered walkways

It''s amazing how having good weather is such a massive determinant to encourage walking...

Simultaneously, the power lines between Senai and Johor Baru, the crucial final leg to allow electric trains to travel from the Thai border of Padang Besar all the way down to Johor Bahru, has been electrified earlier this month, which is a telltale sign of ETS service very soon
November 16, 2025 at 8:39 AM
After much wait, sales for ETS and Intercity tickets for January 2026 onward would open from 10:00 tomorrow

This comes after multiple deferment of the ticket sales up to the end of the year, possibly to accommodate the new schedule for the ETS service extension to Johor Bahru

After months in limbo, RapidKuantan will cease operations, with its final day of bus ops on 14 December this year, to be taken over by Sanaa Tours

I hope RapidKuantan could at least host a send-off ceremony, much like how First Bus in Hong Kong did for its last day of ops:

Am presenting my best works at the Transit Mapping Symposium attended by world class mappers at the Hong Kong Design Centre!

Come and say hi to me and my works (with other cool works around the world) if you’re in HK this week!

The disruption to the Kelana Jaya Line is the fourth it has happened within less than a span of a week, yet the public has not been given assurance on the reliability of the LRT

This is becoming 2022 all over again

Good to see that MOT has placed reviving cross-border rail services along disused railways as a priority for this year’s budget, with rehabilitation works for the railway set to begin next year:

Obscenely cruel policy that’s likely conceived from an air-conditioned office far away in Putrajaya

Getting out of homelessness is extremely difficult when you don’t have a permanent address - we need more rehousing programmes rather than aesthetic fixes that solves nothing

The road ahead is not easy (literally…) but when there is a will, there is always a way!

Keep an eye out for more bus improvements in your area soon!

Channeling some of my passionate tweets in the past into action - proud to had been collaborating with Dr Afif, the MLA for Taman Medan, working with @myrapidkl to extend the 640 bus, connecting with PJ01 at Taman Medan Bus Terminal

This will bring residents closer to high-paying jobs in KL and PJ

A proactive transit agency will recognise the strength that transport enthusiasts have, like bus enthus, and engage with them greatly as they are part of a larger user base of public transport users that cares deeply about its growth and engages positively with them:

Bus bridging services on the Putrajaya MRT line continues, with express bus services introduced to slip sectors between Tun Razak Exchange to UPM and Sungai Besi to Putrajaya Sentral:

Frustrated at the last minute announcements but the work must continue - here’s a map of closed stations for this evening:

Going to Kuala Lumpur? With the ASEAN Summit underway, public transport remains a decent choice to get into the capital!

Here is a handy guide showing bus routes affected by the road closures, especially GOKL bus routes, and alternative transport options for the next few days:

Someone in RapidKL must really love walking a lot, or has never walked in Kuala Lumpur for a day in their life as suggesting Kampung Baru or Bukit Nanas as viable walkable alternatives to Ampang Park or Persiaran KLCC is certainly an interesting choice:

Got screwed over by the unexpected station closures in KL? Here is a quick and handy map showing temporary RapidKL station closures for today until 12:00:
October 26, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Hate how RapidKL on Twitter calls a post “IMPORTANT NOTICE 🚨” and yet still hides info behind a damn link

Also, what do you mean the two most popular stations on the network are closed for almost HALF A DAY and announced ON THE HOUR OF THE CLOSURE?

RapidKL is taking everyone for a ridiculous ride
October 26, 2025 at 12:47 AM
Whoever from RapidKL that wrote the press release has clearly never taken the MRT from Persiaran KLCC as no one would suggest KLCC LRT station as an alternative when it is much faster to walk to Ampang Park LRT instead:
October 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM
To further support the theory that RapidKL has no contingency of this scale, there is a poster posted on the windshield to indicate it’s head sign, when it could use the front mounted Electronic Display Sign if it had been coded in advance

After a whole day, graphics for the bus bridging services is now out, showing 10 distinct shuttle zones along the alignment of the MRT for people to travel between

Though admittedly given the scale of the disruption, there should be express buses to skip sectors as well
