As I heard someone so poignantly say, “Teachers should not be setting themselves on fire to keep their classrooms warm.”
We need adequate pay, student to teacher ratios, support from the community, the schools, the district, the state department of public instruction, and THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY. These conditions need to be present at EVERY school for EVERY child.
