The weirdest thing to me about “MomTok” videos is the overarching theme that it’s normal to “not feel like you’re old self” or having to work at “reclaiming your identity” outside of just being a mom. Like I don’t feel any different now or feel like I’m grieving the old me.

My only gripe with this app so far is that I can’t make my posts private 🥴 how am I supposed to complain about work when anyone can see it?!
