A big announcement that veteran journalists are being moved out of their jobs and into unspecified new roles and that they will be replaced by TBD feels extremely ominous. variety.com/2025/tv/news...

I'm reading Once Upon a Time (the Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy bio that is basis for the forthcoming TV show) and it's really sharp and fascinating and I totally recommend. Also it's *wild* how similar her story is to Meghan in terms of marrying a famous family with a public that didn't want you there!

Wild news about airing “Good Night, and Good Luck” live the night before it closes — *and* I absolutely love that this release uses the word penultimate, and that no one dumbed that down.

I was happily wrong about the STRANGER THINGS play on Broadway. While some of second act drags, it's mostly a fun, creepy thrill ride that is excellent at translating the excitement of the show. For better or worse, it truly feels like watching an episode or two of the Netflix smash.

Well...I accidentally (on purpose) read every book Julia Quinn (BRIDGERTON) has ever written, so.

JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN is one of the best plays of the year. Right up my alley about teen girls dealing w/ the MeToo movement. Funny & full of life & I would recommend to anyone. A real delight to be in an audience full of so many young women responding to it. Plus: Taylor swift references!!

Had most amazing time watching PRIDE & PREJUDICE in theaters for 20th anniversary w/ mostly full crowd. Theater chains leaving money on table not releasing older films more regularly. Perfect experience w/ fellow DELIGHTED fans & also I forgot how FUNNY it is. Mr. Collins loser!
