3️⃣ Be clear and tangible about the benefits of our work. Use individual stories to illustrate how our programming opens doors, creates opportunities, and strengthen communities. Show, don’t just tell, why this work matters. Make it personal. Make it undeniable.

2️⃣ Lean into community.
Let them know we’re not going anywhere. Create spaces for connection. Check in with partners and coalition members. Be clear with supporters and funders about what we need right now.

1️⃣ Tightening up public messaging. Full audit (and I mean everything—website, social media, email templates, SEO descriptions). Make sure language is clear, consistent, and compliant with federal changes.

This is them priming the environment so people don’t object when they start straight up ignoring the rulings.

Congressman, with all due respect, we need to see more than strongly worded posts from our DMV reps about the gutting of the fed workforce. This is going to decimate our communities and local economies for decades to come. We need you to be LOUD and coordinated - and we need it now.
