Unfortunately, they are denying that their staff took it (even though they are the only people besides my family who come in and out of our home) and are not being helpful in any way. 😔

This violin taught both of my girls to play. She had a richly sweet tone that only comes with time. They named her Maz and though she is not monetarily valuable, to us, she was priceless. 😔

This was a very special violin to both of my girls and one they dreamed of passing down to their children.

We purchased it in 2017 from Seitz Violin in South St. Louis. It is a 105-years-old, made in Japan, 1/2 sized violin. It was in a navy blue case with silver lining.

A police report has been filed, but my expectations for any follow-through on their part are realistically low.

I have visited many of the pawn and music resale shops in the area and ask that any of my friends who are in the music industry please keep an eye out for it.

Then there's pragmatic me thinking, “I thought a room legally has to have two things: a window and a closet,” to be listed as a bedroom.

Carter passed it in the 1970s to allow for less fuel consumption during the fuel crisis. It then just stuck around, much like the 55 mph speed limit.
