I think social media sets us up for unrealistic expectations with this. Most people are not starting and finishing a quilt in a week, especially if working around a job or kids. But I understand the goal of wanting to finish projects, too… sorry I don’t have advice for that part 😆

I appreciate seeing this today. I have the unshakable feeling that collapse is already in motion.. but, regardless, we just keep on doing the work, right? I love the wedding ring component in your quilt, it speaks to hope but also commitment & intention.

I have lots but only routinely use 2 or 3 of these (usually one with a hard top + one soft silicone grippy needle puller). The rest make excellent distractions/toy hats for the child when he wants to “help.” I wanted to like the leather thimble but I just don’t… too bulky.
