David Lynch made things that showed us the beauty and humor in the absurdity of life. I didn't understand what he was doing the first time I saw one of his movies, but I knew it was special. He used dream logic to tell stories that I think we inherently understand because we all dream.

Agnes Pelton (German, 1881–1961) was a visionary symbolist who depicted the spiritual reality she experienced in moments of meditative stillness. Her work was rediscovered after the reemergence of Hilma Af Klint.

These crystals were a hand-painted project from a few years back that I created in my studio. Sometimes a design you love doesn’t make it to production, but keeping the sample is a rare treat. Honoring the process, even when the outcome shifts, can be a really important part of making your art.

You can’t force a flower to thrive where it doesn’t belong. Pink lady slipper orchids remind us that thriving requires the right environment. They rely on a specific fungus to grow, showing that the right support is crucial. A toxic environment can stifle growth—find a place that nourishes you.
