"The science is clear: We can and must bring temperatures back down to 1.5 [degrees Celsius] after any temporary overshoot." – Simon Stiell, UN climate chief

It is CRITICAL that @mark-carney.bsky.social focuses on solutions NOT pipelines. It's now or never👇

Many cooling methods add planet warming emissions, in-turn increasing cooling demand.

I couldn’t agree more! Why are reporters giving any credence to his nonsensical musings.
The media tends to regurgitate Trump’s words as if they were news.

They aren’t news. They’re postures. His words and thoughts add nothing to our understanding of anything. Yet the media reproduces them as if they did.

Memo to the media: Give us the news.
What's the "news" under Trump?

When oil execs say they’re “just doing their job,” what they really mean is putting profit over people and calling it fiduciary duty. The system rewards destruction and punishes restraint. When greed is policy, accountability is the only fix.

Bahaha. 🧛‍♂️ Here's a Halloween satire about Big Oil CEOs who suck… profits, people, and the planet. But the real villain? A system that rewards them for doing it. Don’t get tricked. It’s time to change the rules and make Big Oil pay.
