For the first quarter of 2025, business confidence in Georgia decreased (by 8.8 index points) and reached -5.0. The negative change in was driven by decreased past performance as well as pessimistic expectations.
A first negative since COVID.

One of the biggest problems on the internet today is equalisation. Our politics is falling off a cliff, but let’s give both sides. On the one hand, it’s bad to fall off a cliff. But on the other hand, surely there must be something good about falling off a cliff?

Got my draft back for my documentary on the "Human Safari" in Kherson. No stream, checking for revisions. First film I've have made with a 100% original soundtrack, worked with folk and electronic musicians to get it right. Working on sound design has been really enjoyable🎵

In the Ukrainian city of Kherson there is a hunt for any signs of life. A "Human Safari" where grenade dropping and FPV drones attack soldiers, civilians, city workers, ambulance crews, all who found themselves on the city streets. I went to Kherson, to document these attacks.

Here is my best guidance for action, rendered beautifully by the great John Lithgow. I first published these lessons more than eight years ago, in late 2016. They open the twenty chapters of "On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century."

RFE/RL has been my go-to platform to understand unfolding events in depth, and it was not even "woke" or "liberal," it was democratic where there's growing autocracy.
Now, instead of a ready big-picture insight, there will just be more of dry, grey news, without background.

Self-organized volunteers are saving lives in Guria since the regime simply neglected entire villages and towns in a snowfall.

Yet the regime is installing new cameras at the Heroes Square. Evidently, they found it hard to identify protesters there yesterday.
