Making jokes (and untimely ones, at that) is one thing, but actively just stating fact and/or regurgitating facts from news outlets is enough to get cancelled? Well, fuck me in the ass! Someone should cancel all news programs ever!

I’m one of the most giving people on the face of this earth, to my own detriment sometimes, but expecting me to respond at all times just assumes I don’t have a job (wrong) or I don’t need sleep (super wrong). I don’t appreciate that.

No one can be available 24/7, unless it’s a hospital or help line. You expect too much from your “friends.” We can’t always drop everything to interact with you. You don’t know what someone is going through.

Needless to say, the former friend who has shown their true colors has been blocked, and will no longer be welcome in my life. Next time, choose your words carefully.

I chose to set boundaries at the beginning of this year. I told myself this would be my year, and I would MAKE it my year, no matter what. If you wanna ride with me, you better claim your seat now, lest you fall by the wayside. And I'm not picking you back up if that happens.

I'm almost 40. Drama is high school bullshit, and when I'm sitting here wondering whether or not I want to go to my 20-year reunion (which is this year), and I realize it'll likely be less-drama-filled than my actual life, there's a problem.
