Held a benefit for my friend who passed on Sunday night. It went very, very well; we raised a little over $1200 and covered the headstone for the gravesite. The family is, of course, very appreciative.

So, I'm being put in a position at work where I either have to call off to attend my friend's funeral, or miss an entirely and come work my normal shift. I'm seriously considering a change of employment at this point... But before I can do any of that I got to make sure that I have a fallback plan.
