Trans flag 🏳️‍⚧️ colored corn hits different
9 ears of glass gem corn, with the husks peeled back. The corn kernels are all different colors, some pale yellow, some light or dark pink, and others a beautiful pale blueish grey to dark grey. Some of the kernels are translucent like a gem. Pink, blue, and white are the colors of the trans pride flag :)

My latest excitement: glass gem corn. I bought the seeds from www.nativeseeds.org/pages/glass-... 2 years ago and finally planted them this year - I only germinated five corn stalks but they made the most beautiful little corns 😭

The cat distribution system got us last Wednesday - it’s been one week with sweet simone 🩶🤍🩷

In progress, but I made this snake ring on Sunday. I focus heavily on ergonomics in my work, making sure the piece can be worn everyday without fuss. This ring isn’t exactly knit-friendly, but it’s nice to break your own rules sometimes.

My stone broke, but I still have this setting - so I cut down an oval malachite cabochon to fit. First I flattened the domed top of the stone with wet sandpaper, then shaped it into a marquise.
