I just wanted to get this out on here, really scared of what's to come within the medical field with psuedosciences like Psychiatry becoming mainstream, and the hatred for Psychiatry being mixed up with the hatred for vaccines.

This is one thing I don't think I'll be able to say out loud on Twitter.

A thing that I've noticed is that this wish to ban psych meds is mixed up with banning vaccines. That just doesn't sit well with me.

On one hand you have meds that alter brain chemistry which are not really researched properly for profit reasons with survivor reports documenting serious side effects with psychological and physical harm, whole the other goes through thorough research to even come out to test in the public.

The main problem with psych drugs is that they aren't researched to know their full potential and effects, psychiatrists basically ignoring the severe side effects and withdrawal and their methods of

treatment including increasing doses if the patient gets harmed by the meds (which literally make no sense even within the medical field), psychiatrist holding too much power to coerce clients into treatment they don't agree with.
Mental Health cannot be treated the same as physical health, sure. But does that mean it should rely on cruelty? HELL NO. Not to mention the harms caused by Psychiatry itself is ACTUALLY DOCUMENTED in numerous scientific studies, yet they are ignored because it creates easy cash out of suffering.

However when it comes to vaccines they are researched well before it comes out to the public, yes. How they work is also well documented. But for some reason many who advocate to reduce psychiatric harm also oppose vaccines, most probably

because they were brainwashed by the Trump administration (basically RFK Jr's claim that vaccines cause autism, which it clearly doesn't and was just revealed to be written by A.I., no joke) and are falling for right wing propoganda. Sure, do not force everyone into it but at least make sure the right information reaches the people so that well-informed choices can be made.

Pharmaceutical companies are doing the worst thing imaginable when it comes to drugs and vaccines. We have seen cases where vaccines were not developed well as per the scientist's research within pharma companies, which did increase skepticism, but at least it is much better with testing happening. For psych drugs however, these companies barely do any research and just ship these meds out. They are also the ones formulating many

of the documents MH professionals have to go through to prescribe medication. And given that the main objective is profit, of course it will always lead to "give our medication to this supposed mental illness, even though this will literally damage the person's brain through bringing an actual chemical and physical imbalance".

I am really scared for what is to come for both fields if these profit driven systems are to continue which will worsen the health of people for profit, while putting the blame on those who research and want do help out, bascially blamed because the company doesn't want to damage its own reputation.
