Yesterday yearly NISE lecture in beautiful old Antwerp library. Much debate about nation as demos or ethnos; or about state-led versus stateless nationalism. I also spoken about the role of 50 years of neoliberalism in the current research of populist nationalism.

My first experience with fraud on academia.edu. Someone from Malaysia, pretending to be an attractive postdoc from Oxford University, first informs about my articles, then wants my WhatsApp for a "pleasant" conversation. At least they chose the name of a historical figure, an ancestor of Lady Di.
