I was focused more on tone, but it’s flip side of the same coin. Jeffries sounds exactly like a losing Democrat from 20 years ago. Dems don’t understand how unconvincing this sort of rhetoric is. Not just unconvincing, but emblematic of a politics-as-usual facade making voters feel voiceless.

Definitely not sentiments that came off as fake.
