ChatGPT did not know this, so if you’re looking for the Little House episode where Laura gets a tin cup for Christmas from Mr. Edward’s, it’s actually a moment in the pilot movie (episode 1). The AI apps keep referring to an episode later in the series when this moment is retold.

A couple weeks ago, we had an awesome screening of my film 43 DEGREES NORTH at the Bowdoin Film Society in Brunswick, Maine. For a multitude of reasons, this meant a lot to me personally.

An incredible sunset on Casco Bay on Wednesday evening (12/03/2025). Truly extraordinary. The panoramic was to document the ribbon of clouds that extended from Portland to Cliff Island. The close-up is how the red actually looked to the eye! #Maine #CascoBay

An island across the sound…

Today I walked from one island, to another, via a sandbar that only appears during low tide.

A rare site: the down-bay freighter ferry, Maquoit II temporarily parked in the slip for the Peaks Island car ferry, Machigonne II. #CascoBay #Maine #Maritime

A really great house in Maine. How they acquired a USCG navigation buoy is a story I’d like to hear. Also,
I want one myself 😂

Sunrise this morning, on Casco Bay, was something else!

Last night’s walk. I haven’t really been doing evening walks for two years, but trying to get back into it.

From my hometown of Long Island, Maine - I always thought that Cousin’s Island (and the City of Yarmouth), just across the bay, looked like an aircraft carrier at anchor. On a night ride down the bay last Friday evening, I noticed it still does.

A remarkable castle-like library and theater in Monmouth, Maine. It’s called “Cumston” 🤷. Anyway, just wanted to share this glorious architecture.

Rockland lighthouse - high tide. There is a breakwater to walk there but it’s hard to see with the tide so high. The fog wall in the backdrop blocks the view of Vinalhaven and North Haven Islands. Almost like a protective incantation. #Maine

The score for 43 Degrees North, composed by Italian composer Matteo Bartolo, will release on August 22nd. This is the first full score for one of my movies that will get a soundtrack release. #IndieFilm #Filmmaking #Filmmaker
