ChatGPT did not know this, so if you’re looking for the Little House episode where Laura gets a tin cup for Christmas from Mr. Edward’s, it’s actually a moment in the pilot movie (episode 1). The AI apps keep referring to an episode later in the series when this moment is retold.

Remember kids, anytime an indie film platform says it’s “evolving”, it usually means it’s going to be less indie-friendly and indie-centric.

A couple weeks ago, we had an awesome screening of my film 43 DEGREES NORTH at the Bowdoin Film Society in Brunswick, Maine. For a multitude of reasons, this meant a lot to me personally.

An incredible sunset on Casco Bay on Wednesday evening (12/03/2025). Truly extraordinary. The panoramic was to document the ribbon of clouds that extended from Portland to Cliff Island. The close-up is how the red actually looked to the eye! #Maine #CascoBay

I tried to show my kid the live action Charlotte’s Web movie on the Roku channel but had to shut it off. Why do they think it’s okay to put pharmaceutical ads on a kid’s movie?

Advertisers should insist their ads only play to audiences that are relevant, otherwise they’re just burning cash.

Today I walked from one island, to another, via a sandbar that only appears during low tide.

"Evil doesn't always wear Nazi boots"

James Vanderbilt's new film (with a superb Russell Crowe) is a compelling historical drama, a warning against present-day authoritarianism, and a breath of a fresh air in a film industry drunk with nationalism - from San Sebastian:

A rare site: the down-bay freighter ferry, Maquoit II temporarily parked in the slip for the Peaks Island car ferry, Machigonne II. #CascoBay #Maine #Maritime

Law school being so expensive is in and of itself a systemic failure of society. The same thing with med school.

The iPhone building a photo montage called “Beach day” and putting all the photos from a memorial service in it is morbidly funny.

A really great house in Maine. How they acquired a USCG navigation buoy is a story I’d like to hear. Also,
I want one myself 😂

We lost one of the greats. Graham Greene was not only an actor but a trail blazer. He opened doors for so many of us Natives. I'm proud to say that the very first pilot I ever acted in was with Graham Greene. The pilot was never picked up but I get to say that I got to work with one of the greats.
