The first cold of the season means it's chili time! Made a milder one this go around but still lots of flavors: mild rotel with tomato sauce, garlic powder, oregano, anaheim peppers, yellow onion, chili powder, paprika, cumin, a dash of cayene and a little brown sugar to wrap it up 😋

Saw this advertised in another DC book so thought I'd check it out. For a first issue it definitely leaves more questions than answers and also featured a backup story about Amazon kangaroos? The art is colorful and it might be worth a read for younger readers. I might read the next one.

Had an amazing last day at Showcase! Sold a few quick sketches and a few books, had some great table neighbors, and of course promoted Lucky Red Comics ( @luckyredcomics.com)! A special thank you to everyone who came by- can't wait to do more shows in the future!

Two days in at All C's and have met some wonderful people, sold a few books including some sketch covers. Tomorrow is the last day and there'll be all kinds of closing day sales!

I am very late to the party but have finally started watching Umbrella Academy- overall I very much am captivated by its drama, melancholy, and dark humor. Will definitely be watching more.

I don't know what exactly will come of this character, but there's an idea possibly hatching that I haven't fully decided to shelve, and drawing her out makes the idea feel more worthwhile to explore.

The guy who does the clearly stagged shoulder check videos at cons isn't remotely funny in the least: the fact everyone is in on the bit doesn't make it any better or funnier.

Practicing sketching on the official sketch cover variant of Altitude #1! This was done in mechanical pencil and fine point sharpie. Emissary, Earth's Finest hero, was very excited to be chosen to be the first character drawn! Can't wait to do some of these covers at Showcase in a few weeks!
