Here you have Sec Lutnick as Commerce Secretary and his oldest son, Kyle Lutnick, involved in exactly the same AI data center deal. Dad as government official. Son as financial deal maker--earning the family-controlled company millions in fees. Both this summer.

Obscure Washington, DC, fact of the day. From my daughter's second-grade class birthday party. Washington is DC is home to the oldest continuously operating miniature golf course in the United States. It is a national historic landmark. Who knew?

To those who wondered if SpaceX would be punished after Musk/Trump's very public fight, the answer appears to be "no." Today Pentagon announces $714 million in new SpaceX contracts to launch military satellites, besting out Boeing/Lockheed United Launch ($428 million) & Bezos' Blue Origin ($0)

So it turns out that the NASA Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel Sept 19 identified the exact same issues discussd in our NYT story published early Saturday morning. Transcript excerpts here. Repeated, serious warnings from NASA's advisory board re schedule AND potential safety risks with SpaceX HLS.
