Basking sharks can look scary but despite being the second largest shark they are plankton eaters! They open their mouths wide near the surface to filter feed, which I'm sure is a crazy view to see in real life!

Look at these ant butts! These are honey pot ant repleats! These specialized workers are basically living food storage. They are fed up by their sisters and store all that food in their social stomach which makes their gasters expand to an amazing size!

This little lady is known as an acrobat ant! They are called that because they hold their gasters (that's what an ant butt is called) high in the air to attack instead of tucking it under them like other ant species do!

Weaver ants make really cool leaf nests high up in trees. They make these nests by "stitching" the leaves together with silk produced by the young of the colony.

So I mentioned yesterday that weaver ants use the silk their larvae produce to mage nests but before that they have to bend the leaves in the right shape. To do that they use their own bodies like scaffolding! Bending and placing the leaves where they need to be!

Adams must be removed. The city cannot sustain being governed for nearly a year by a Mayor who is being coerced by Trump admin in order to escape charges.
This corruption poses a real threat to the people of the city. He should have resigned a while ago, but will not. So it’s time for him to go.

So fire ants can float... When they make these boat like structures the ants are in constant movement so each has a turn underwater. This makes it so no ant drowns, they are real tropical survivalist!
