I’m curious about this as well! Substack seems to be the most widespread. It has plenty of detractors, but people don’t eeem to have coalesced around an alternative. There’s Ghost, but they charge a flat fee, versus Substack’s model of taking a percentage of subscriber revenue.

I’m still angry about this. They never gave it a proper chance, and pulling it down so no one can watch it is just a slap in the face.

I love this post. I feel far more creative and productive when I’m not staring at a computer screen trying to force something. It’s so bad that I’m honestly debating getting some old school pen and paper notebooks for jotting things down. 😂 Imagination is definitely part of the process too.
