Sigh, I am so old. I remember buying this at Toys R Us with my allowance money, based solely on the box art, and playing it on the NES in my basement while sitting on the floor.

This is one of my all-time favorite games. I've replayed it multiple times. I think it holds up really well considering its age.

I did this over a decade ago, and don't miss it. Don't fall into the trap of trying to have every streaming service all the time, or you won't save any money. I'd also recommend paying the extra for ad-free on any streaming service you watch a lot. Totally worth it not to be bombarded with ads.

There are no awful games, just people too boring to appreciate the absurd.

I think it means we've just become our own gods now, for better or worse (hint: it's worse).

I've only watched the first episode of season two so far, and my big take away is that that its become quite convoluted. Like, just very muddled. Also, it seems like they undid a bunch of character development from season one for the sake of more teenage romance drama? Not sure I'm digging it.

Okay, there's like fourteen of these novellas, is it a read in order from the beginning situation? Or is there a better starting point?

Fun fact, the copy of the novel I picked up had a preface by Stephen King that spoiled the ending — and I mean the biggest spoiler you can imagine. So I never read it after that. I've seen the Arnie movie though, and I love it non-ironically. This one's looking way more serious, but not bad.

I watched the first 3/4 of the trailer and was very impressed with how they avoided it, and was relieved. Then they teased the ship and I was hoping they'd stop there, and then they ruined the spoiler completely. It was very disappointing.

Couldn't agree more! I'm going on a road trip this weekend, and picked up two audio books for the ride, and another two ebooks for when I am relaxing. All free on Libby.

I'll be there too! Looking forward to seeing both of you!

And for anyone that is not familiar, here's a link to the full text, which I just reread, as it remains solid advice.

I'm procrastinating adding my games as well, but I really need to clear some of them out. My goal is to do it all this weekend. It's not like the weather's good, anyway.
