Minneapolis, MN. This is my home, I’m a local
I don’t know how you did that, but Bluesky desperately needs polls integrated.

What does the sailing to re-election part have to do with the carjacking part?
That’s so weird.

Given the song’s musical and lyrical themes, the 50th anniversary would be the perfect opportunity for a rerecording of the track by @dropkickmurphys.com

311’s response to bike lane violations is atrocious.
It’s crazy to see 311 respond to reports, but then as soon as it’s a “bike lane” violation being reported they do not give a fuck.
I reported this car yesterday afternoon. 311 acknowledged the report and then no follow up (still open). It was still parked there 5 hours later (and probably longer).

Yes. That is an excellent point.

Fateh, Davis, and Hampton did zero door knocking in ward 13. Frey did multiple. They were ready to concede the entire ward to Frey.
Progressives can and have won ward 13. Recently! Mary Moriarty knocked on doors. Greta Callahan knocked on doors.

Here’s the one I got from Minneapolis DFL (good, correct, looks nice)
And the Minnesota DFL (WTF?)

My one regret is that I didn’t consider how votes were tabulated in this race. The ballot said vote for three, 3 to be elected, and there were 3 candidates I liked. Perfect, I thought. It sounds stupid to say now, but it didn’t even occur to me that I needed to rank them. Sorry to Michael.

That’s a good point. I think there is no shortage of progressive talent in ward 13, someone just needs to be ready to go and step up when the time is right. And swae has done a good job laying the ground work so far. Now LFG next cycle

As a ward thirteener, let me just say Haha. Eat shit, ward 13.
Especially after someone was hanging these signs on electrical boxes and any surface they could find

My hope for ward 13: if Frey is 3 and done, his rich backers will draft Palmisano to run for Mayor in 2029 leaving ward 13 incumbentless. Which is absolutely the best time to run a progressive for CM. Why not Mary, who has been elected by 13 once already?

And they choose when and what to cover! It is their choice to only cover transit crime and budget. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Anyone that’s able to do so, be prepared for consequences. Don’t underestimate all the ways the oligarchs will join together to make life hell for anyone who tries to do this.
