How is this not bigger news in tech/security circles.

Jaguar Land Lover lost $250M (£200M) and counting thanks to a cyberattack that it still couldn’t mitigate. This is growing every week.

The cost of underinvesting in security is very real. 1+ month recovery is bonkers

The manufacturers moaning about poor EV sales are those releasing substandard, expensive cars; wondering why people don't want them.

Others, like Hyundai/Kia, that are making an effort with desirable EVs, are doing fine.

Remember that when you hear legacy auto moaning.

the algorithmic feed has been great for "engagement" and, thus, advertising revenue. It's been disastrous for society and toxic for teenagers. If Bluesky's chronological standard timeline forces incumbents to take us back to a simpler time, I am a huge proponent. @jay.bsky.team keep pushing.
We wrote on Saturday about how Meta is going all-out to meet the threat of Bluesky: wapo.st/3OrYxBj

Today they took another step— finally allowing users to set their default feeds to a chronological “following” feed.

Hint: Both of these things are equally appropriate for children. Neither is "indoctrination". There is nothing "wrong" with either of these things, and if you feel upset at the thought of a kid watching the bottom one, but not the top, maybe sit and examine your own internal biases and prejudices.

May be a hot take but perhaps literally locking all of your inventory up doesn’t incentivize people to buy it…

This Jaguar rebrand is even funnier/cringier when you see the size/shape of the car they're about to announce. Everyone wanting a recreation of the E-type... I have bad news.
