Scallion and cheese pancakes with sour cream

First time cooking up sweet potato leaves from my garden.

Pretty happy with a quick blanch, then tossed with salt and sesame oil. I tried 1 and 1.5 minutes, and I think I prefer the latter.

My favorite part is the easy growing process. Just needs water, and minimal concern with bugs.

Bought an alternate set of tires for my bike and swapped them over.

Before: Specialized 38mm tires with gravel tread

After: Specialized Mondo 32mm slicks.

I’ve done a couple test rides so far and it is noticeably easier to accelerate and maintain speed.

I talked to @levlaz.org last weekend about croissants and air fryers.

Decided to revisit some heat and timing combos.

Gardening learnings

These 3 sweet potatoes came from the same produce bag.

The two in hand sprouted in the bag. The one in soil was plopped down a few weeks ago and watered.

Looks like they’ll all produce plants, but the soil method is much faster.

Looking forward to the stir frying these!
