Very surprised to see GPT-4.5 falling into a loop outputting random tokens in a normal prompt!

When Big American tech does it, they argue gobbling gigabytes of proprietary data is “fair use”, when someone else does it “against the terms of service”.

I think one of the most underrated apps that ships on iOS/macOS is Freeform. It’s the closest I feel to having the freedom of paper on a digital device (when it’s paired with an iPad and an Apple Pencil).

It's important to distinguish between supporting legal immigration generally and advocating specifically for tech immigration to fill high-skilled jobs. While both positions have merit, they're driven by different motivations and have distinct implications.

One of the best apps I use everyday continues to be Matter!

It’s really interesting having an archive of my conversations with different LLMs. Then I can go and check the new releases against the old ones and see if there is any actual improvements.

I recently got (the latest, cheapest) Kindle reader and I’ve already finished reading one book using it. I really like the slow and boring interface, it’s less distracting.
And it made me appreciate public libraries even more. I can just easily borrow books from the library and read them wherever.

Really enjoy the new editor from the creators of Atom called Zed. I don’t know how to program in Rust but it’s great that it’s open-source so I can hack around and make some (small) changes.
And I really like the “Assistants” integration!

I stopped using Twitter (and other social media) about two years ago. Now back after a while to see how this thing is. I hope I can find my people and new people, and learn from them.
