Her disguise was drastic, but that was what it took for her guards to let her out on the grounds of the hotel on Coruscant without them.
Little did they know she had slipped out to the Skydome Botanical Gardens instead of staying close by.

Something that had become second nature to Tenel Ka was braiding her hair one-handed. It had mainly been thanks to Jacen's brother Anakin so long ago, but she never forgot the kind gesture of his.
Braiding was a tradition for her most mornings, as was unbraiding in the evening.

Reef Fortress was a stronghold of Hapan royalty but Tenel Ka would go there just to be alone -- to train or meditate. Some associated her with fire but she was much more in tune with the ocean, calm one moment and a storm the next -- it was her much more than she'd like to admit.
