Her disguise was drastic, but that was what it took for her guards to let her out on the grounds of the hotel on Coruscant without them.

Something that had become second nature to Tenel Ka was braiding her hair one-handed. It had mainly been thanks to Jacen's brother Anakin so long ago, but she never forgot the kind gesture of his.
Braiding was a tradition for her most mornings, as was unbraiding in the evening.

The overcast sky was perfect weather for dozing on the chaise lounge in the courtyard at the fortress. Napping was a luxury she barely got to partake in and something many people she knew seemed to take for granted.

Morning meetings had replaced her normal early routine of a run and some Hapan kickboxing practice, but she had finally convinced the councils to reschedule them. She wanted some sense of normalcy in her life once more.
There were some things she would just never get used to.
