Today is day 1 of #NaNoWriMo I wrote 4291 words today. I am referring to my WIP as Untitled 50s YA. That is all I am saying about it. I will be spending my days writing this and finalizing edits for my other book to be sent back to my editor. It is going to be a busy month.

So I just learned that Peter Frechette who played my favorite T-Bird from Grease 2, Louis DiMucci, is openly gay. I have loved this film since I was kid. Once again, an actor who I crushed on as kid was gay the entire time!

During genocide is the worst time to remain silent. Educate yourself. Speak out. Contact your reps. We can't let this happen without a fight.
Instead of saying I don't know enough to talk about it, this doesn't concern me, I'm scared of losing business, or I just want peace for both sides, say this. I'm going to educate myself more so that I can speak. This concerns me because it is a human rights issue. I no longer wish to work with those whose values don't align with my own. There is no peace for both sides when one is the oppressed and the other is the oppressor.

Woke up to rain this morning. Decided to go with a relaxing take-my-time day today. Watched Rollerball (1975), haven't seen it since I was a kid. meh. I feel like I should be working on stuff, but I kind of want to make some hot chocolate and stare out my window.
