If you see a small hedgehog in autumn (like the one in my hands), please take it to a rescue center. Our autumns are too warm, & hedgehog moms now have a 2nd litter. These tiny babies can’t survive winter! This one weighs only 130g (needs 500g). Please keep an eye out! #hedgehog #wildlife

We developed a step-by-step guide to crowdsourced multiverse analysis. By involving multiple researchers in defining and running analyses, the process becomes more objective, transparent, and resistant to bias, ensuring that researchers do not cherry-pick which paths to include.

Surprisingly, economic, cultural, or sociopolitical factors did not explain these differences. Takeaway: Feeling like a personal victim of injustice can fuel conspiratorial beliefs, but how this plays out globally is complex and not easily explained by national-level factors.

The study examined victim justice sensitivity (VJS) – the tendency to perceive and react to injustice directed at oneself – and its link to conspiracy beliefs. Across 15 countries (N = 14,978), VJS was linked to general conspiracy beliefs as well as specific ones about vaccines and climate change.

I moderated the keynote panel II with @lspitzer.bsky.social A. Sarafoglou, @agataboch.bsky.social @leesplez.bsky.social & @martonkovacs.bsky.social. We had a heated debate on how open data should or can be. Do we have the right to keep our data closed, or should we aim for radical transparency?

Day 2 of #SIPS2025 ended with a fabulous boat trip! I’ve been told that SIPSers took part in traditional Hungarian dances led by @martonkovacs.bsky.social and @szaszibarnabas.bsky.social . But what happened on the boat, stays on the boat. Tss!

How can we fairly address diversity & inequity in academic careers? @vaidis.bsky.social might have some insights! :)
For example, are the variables we're currently using to track DEI actually fair? Even within EU, are all European countries truly equal in terms of opportunity? #SIPS2025
