When I was dx with stage III colon cancer at 36, I knew my grandmother had died from CRC. What I didn't know was she also had uterine cancer earlier. Or that her dad and uncle had CRC. Knowing this could have spared me landing in the ER with lemon sized tumor obstructing my bowel.
