It's more than that. Everything is red meat for MAGA. Lining up Mexican flags against a line of LAPD is basically an image that says to the unengaged American - which is MOST of them - "Donald Trump is right. This is a stand against a foreign invading mob."
You're not getting it man. Images of the Mexican flag being waved around on American soil is red meat for the MAGA crowd. It's playing right into the Trump narrative of "invasion" and it's just going to get them even more fired up while doing very little for the other side.
