First, I don’t think the timing of the decision is an accident. Friedman kinda outlined this, but with Pinto’s contract coming up soon, I think they wanted to have “the guy” in place.

The irony of wanting cap space by any means necessary for 2mos, only for it to open the day after you find out the space is unnecessary.

I also feel horrible for Branny, who played less than a game after finding out he wouldn’t be traded.

However small a win, that’s 5 straight games with great first periods by the Sens.

If nothing else, DJ has had them ready to play each game.
