for iPhone, if you press and hold the power button and volume up button you get the screen to power off the phone. Simply backing out of that requires a passcode before biometrics like face id will work again.

Absolutely gorgeous day, with loads of kids coming and going from the playground at Coes Pond. Shout out to Parks and Public Works who just cleared out the trashcans as well. Love our parks!

Every time we head in to NYC via Metro North, I’m reminded how behind the times @mbta-cr.bsky.social is. Large capacity, quiet (⚡️) and clean trains, regular service (apx every 20-30m), the list goes on. It’s a such a shame that service from Worcester to Boston feels decades behind.
