was there any talk about eventually narrowing pleasant coming towards Newton Square from Park. I see it in the design that you posted, but I’m curious if they’ll narrow the rest of it. Absurdly wide street.

Worcester received 27 eligible applications this cycle, which is amazing! Last round we supported $4,388,009 for 18 projects! These funds come from the surcharge mentioned previously, but also a match from the state! What a great investment in our city.

Spending time this evening reviewing CPA projects submitted in Worcester. To the naysayers & cranks complaining about the increased taxes (1.5% surcharge after exemptions on property tax), I'm happy to have my $70 annually going to parks, green spacing, historic preservation, & affordable housing.

I recommended it to the 311 center, DPW, and a call to the City Manager’s office. Seems like an easy fix.

While I should't be surprised, why the Worcester 311 Center on Main St doesn't have replacement recycling bins is simply mind boggling. They're open on Sat and it would seem like a no brainer. Instead you have to go during the week to DPW at 20 E Worcester St. Make it make sense.
