There’s a lot there. I wonder what Mary Shelley would think of AI and the way it is being put deployed. I wonder what she would think of modern medicine.

Unnatural creation of life.
Socially responsible advancement of technology.
Consequences of capital and ego motivated medicine.
Cycles of violence, perpetuated and broken.

Watching this retelling that carried all of the ethical weight Mary Shelley originally put into it was a trip in these times, and with the themes that have been on my mind.

They might as well include the words “research,” “literature review,” and “hypothesis.”
