Pleased ours has flowered this year after 2 house moves in less than 12 months. Thought it might have the hump!

2nd day it has not got above freezing. On a positive note at least it is windless, bright and sunny. A little sun definitely lifts the soul on these short winter days.

Lovely, we have had a tree for the first time in nearly 30 years, as we have recently moved from a tiny place that just did not have the space. So we have gone the whole hog with a 7 footer.

It's not a bad spot though. Takes me ages to open the curtains, as I can not get enough of the spectacular view we now have, compared to before, when all we could see was housing.

What a welcome from a near neighbour to our new home in Cumbria. Now begins the search for our new forever home after selling our Hampshire home of 30 years. It was a bit of a wrench, but felt it was time for a new adventure. So watch this space.....
