If fedora wants to advocate for AI as a useful tool, then they would have to do it ethically. Open source tools are not enough, open source datasets would need to be a pre-requisite and licenses would have to be ensured to pass through to the user or program "generating" the code.

I understand the ethos behind stripping back web to be data first (text and links) but I'm unsure whether or not the removal of all multimedia "embeds" is even a good idea. It feels like gemini's proof of concept should be that it can present at bear minimum a wikipedia page without missing data.
