Petty detail but Johnny Cardoso is Brazilian. He was born in the US to Brazilian parents, immediately moved back to Brazil as a baby and he grew up playing in Brazil. Pretty confident he identifies as Brazilian.

I do think the club need to seriously address the medical staff (again). There’s clearly something wrong, particularly with all the reinjuries and set backs… I know we want to blame players, Ange, Levy (somewhat fair), but the truth is the medical staff have been shocking two years in a row. #coys

I think giving Ange more time makes sense. Hopefully less fixture congestion and some returning players provide the boost we expect. That said, some concerns I have include his squad selections (goes with merit over game specific) and his use of subs. Although, I don’t think these warrant sacking.

Bentancur as a 6 is totally doing my head in. He’s always miles out of position.

Tel, Spence, Danso in for europa league, Forster, Werner and Radu out. Correct decision imo happy with that.

Right, now that the dust has settled some small positives from last night: Danso looked good - very nice ball carrier, Spence is just so so good, also thought Tel looked bright despite a really tough job / lack of balls up front.

That was a tough watch. A lot of players were off it tonight. Also hate that starting midfield from ange.

Midfield has awful… can’t string a ball together and Bentancur runs around like a headless chicken. Need some subs to get some control in the second half

Generally try to keep it positive and I know there’s tired legs but Porro biss Sarr Johnson dragusin all way off it. 3 of those realistically not good enough to be starters long term. Squad needs a lot of investment.

For me I think it has to be someone who can play CB/LB (I like Murillo), a goalkeeper and a statement winger. #COYS

Have to say I can’t work out why ange put out this lineup. Low block team and Spurs play Johnson and Son who need space in behind, and bench Maddison. We have no creative passing to unlock this and Son is having an absolute mare. Subs needed.
